Our Mission
Casa Morelia exists to empower and support the Mexican and Latino immigrant community in California. We celebrate and preserve our rich Michoacán heritage while providing essential resources, education, and advocacy to help families thrive in their new home.
Cultural Preservation
Celebrating Michoacán traditions, from Día de Muertos to traditional crafts and music, keeping our heritage alive for future generations.
Education & Support
Providing immigration resources, after-school programs, and workshops to empower community members with knowledge and skills.
Community Building
Creating a welcoming space where families connect, celebrate together, and build a strong, supportive community in California.
Know Your Rights – Immigrant Resources
Understanding your rights is essential. This resource from the ACLU provides clear, reliable information about the rights of immigrants, including what to know when interacting with law enforcement or immigration officials, and how to protect yourself and your family.
